FRN has made notable progress in collaboration with PIPO centers and Fisheries Associations in Songkhla and Khlong Yai (Trat), Thailand, recently organizing large health and safety training events and securing commitments from vessel owners to keep medicine kits fully stocked and replenished on their fishing vessels. Even though challenges persist, including gaps in the enforcement of C188 standards, the willingness of these partners to collaborate is a positive step in the right direction.
